Falmouth, MA – September 26, 2015

Date: Saturday, September 26, 2105. Skippers’ meeting at 1230 PM.

 

Location (changed): Finish line and skippers’ meeting at Stony Beach, (MBL Stony Beach, Falmouth, MA 02543…in Woods Hole Village)
Cost: $35 – $40 (to cover safety-boat fuel, shuttle, food)

Course info: Distance: ~10 miles point to point. Start at Megansett Beach, N. Falmouth, MA. Finish at Stony Beach, Woods Hole, MA. A straight line will put you almost a mile offshore. There are lots of bail-out beaches to the east.

Safety: PFDs and leashes must be worn, carry a whistle. Watch for swimmers at finish.

Logistics: (for the North to South reverse course)

1) Spot your boats and gear at the start no later than noon at Megansett Beach, across street from Megansett Yacht Club, 237 County Rd, North Falmouth, MA 02556. Someone will stay to watch them.

2) Drive your cars and warm clothes to the finish line at Stony Beach. Skippers meeting at Stony Beach at 1230.

3) Ride shuttle vehicles to starting line for 2 PM race start.

4) Race south back to Stony.

5) Consume food and beverages at Sherwood/White house near start line after race.
