Who says that SLOW is never desirable ? (The whole video is in slomo)

All the footage is from the Tuesday 15th 2.00pm run. This is the same run as featured in the prior 2 videos (Roman Rock, Resplendent Again & Sixty Sizzling Seconds). Approx. 3/4 of the footage is exclusive to this video.

Rosie Bruce Band: A band featuring Cameron Bruce and his daughter Rosie. Cameron is a well known Cape Town "waterman" as he was a top global windsurfer, with one global crown (1986 Junior World Champion). Their band has a whole string of original songs which will, hopefully, be featured in future videos.

Paddle out in shelter then hit the wind. Wind and bumps don't really line up as wind is going across and the bumps are mainly heading straight into the bay.

No one else was available for a run so Sarah generously offered to drive me. It was beautifully sunny with building conditions in the afternoon. I felt a bit clumsy in the V10 in these conditions, I may have been better off in the V9. The video is mostly comprised of a continuous 4 minute clip.

Tue 15th April 2.00pm (the same run as the last video)

As an intermediate surfskier it really is a thrill to be on a sequence of runs for longer than, say, 20 seconds. This one lasted 60 seconds. The extra length of the video is attributable to having both front and rear footage as well as some slomo.

The "well almost" is an acknowledgment of the fact that the real sizzle does not start until about 35 seconds in.

Got my sights on "Two Continuous Minutes!"

Cleaner than I have experienced for quite some time.
Two short dolphin sightings. They were keen to play but left quickly as I was too much of a slouch for them.

Bird identification: There is a large bird at the lighthouse that struggles to take off as it is carrying a fish (or some form of prey). It looks too big to be a cormorant. Can anyone ID it ? (You will see it in both the opening and closing seconds; front and rear views)

Magical sunny spring day with sea lions, snow capped mountains, and plenty of surfing - Northerly wind gusting to 25 knots with a strong current flowing out from the locks setting up several linjked runs.

A brief intro to "Skinny Capuccino" and overview of his 2022 attempted circumnavigation of the South African coastline. The trip was not completed due to disaster that befell his support partner at St Francis (more on that in a future video).
