2K Time Trial from Wesley Echols on Vimeo.
Only a few days until the Crash B’s (World Indoor Rowing Championships) Sunday, March 1st. This was one of my 2k time trials I did a month ago, edited down to 1.47. Below are the paddlers that I know who will be giving it their all for 6:30 minutes to 8:00 minutes for the 2k distance. Training for this event is hard work. What I love about he erg is that your time is what it is. No wind, waves, drafting, etc to discuss and debate. Sit in that sliding seat for a 2k time trial and be prepared for some amount of agony. It may start at the 1000 meter mark and will certainly come at the 1500 meter mark. The last 300 meters is could be sheer agony or if you trained properly and paced yourself, it could bearable knowing the end is near. This will be my 11th year of the last 13th since I started competing. One year I missed the registration deadline, and last year it was snowing very heavy so those are the only two times I have missed it. Wishing everyone below a great 2k!!
