ACA Championships Proposal Submission Window Open

The American Canoe Association’s Ocean Racing Committee has been working on a national development program for competitive ICF-spec surfski paddling in the USA since 2023. The latest news from the ORC is the opening of the submission window for state, regional, and national championship competitions for 2026 and beyond. The committee is asking race organizers to propose existing competitions in addition to new ones, which is great because there are nearly 200 races featuring surfski categories produced every year all over the country. Smaller courses/events are good options for state championships and larger courses/events are good options for regional and even national championships.
