ICF Women’s World Surf Ski Championship Highlight Video

It was wonderful to watch the race LIVE Streaming on Youtube. Michele Eray(South African/USA) was in the lead the entire race (32K) with Teaneale Hatton(NZ) keeping in touch. With 3k to go and flatter conditions, Teaneale made her move, coming along side Michele and passing her. Michele countered by riding her wash before Teaneale put on a burst to open up a small gap winning by 30 seconds. She now adds this title to here already impressive kayaking stats: 5x World Champion K1 1000m, K1 5000m, U23 Marathon, U23 Ocean Ski, Open Double Ski, 2015 US and Canadian Surfski Champion and North American Surfski Champion. A shout out and congratulations goes to USA and Stellar paddler, Beata Cseke who placed 17th.
