Moving On!

As of today I have  moved on from Stellar Kayaks and Surfskis. I have been with Stellar for about four years working in my spare time when I was not doing my day job as a pharmaceutical sales representative. During this time frame, I learned a lot about the business of surf skis. I have also met many paddlers through Stellar so I am appreciative of that.

Some people new to this site may not know that I had a wealth of surfski knowledge prior to my time at Stellar. By the time I had joined them, I had already produced my Surfski Dvd entitled “Surfski Basics” and subsequently launched SurfskiRacing.com with Chris Chappell as the web master. SurfskiRacing.com was initially a platform to sell “Surfski Basics” but quickly became what it is today with Chris’s expertise on web design and Mark Ceconi’s flair for writing. I had also reviewed over 15 skis on this site and was one of the first paddlers ever to rate the surfskis on a comparison chart and post it on the web. Since then I have reviewed the Stellar skis, and just in the last year reviewed the Mohican, Nelo Vintage, and the Vadja Hawk.  So I look forward to reviewing other skis this fall, bringing you the regional race summaries, and continue to be a resource for surfski paddlers while growing the surfski community.  Wesley
