On June 1st, get out of bed, grab a cup of joe, load your ski or kayak, grab your paddle, pfd, leash and 70 ounces of hydration and join us on the Sakonnet River for 12 miles of race pace paddling. It could be a gale like last year or flat with 8 inch wavelets. Either way it is a fun out and back course that most paddlers on the average day can do without anxiety. On a large day beyond black point to the turn buoy it is true ocean conditions with swells, refractory waves, and undulating water. See the race calendar for all the details and the exact course.
