Jim Hoffman Does U.S. Surfski Champs

Jim Hoffman from Bedford, New York did his 2nd US Surfski Champs. The week before at the Double Beaver Race in Jamestown, RI, Jim mentioned he was registered for the race but would play it by ear if he would participate. Jim is a frequent flyer to California for business so he gets a chance to paddle out there infrequently. Jim said the conditions were somewhat flatter than 2 years ago when he did it with a crew of New England paddlers although in spots like off Angel Island the waves were coming in all directions Jim said. Congratulations to Jim!! Well Done!!
