Mike, Tim and I did part of the Blackburn Course today. We did it in reverse due to the tides. It was very rough outside of the harbor and did not loosen its grip until a few miles outside of the harbor. Mega boat traffic as you might expect this weekend only adding to the already chaotic seas. On the return back into the harbor just prior to making the turn at Dog Bar, a lobster boat at full throttle through out a huge wake in what was already a bumpy ride. Excellent training!! Mike and Tim paddled the Stellar SE2 in this New England Big Water in preps for the Blackburn in three weeks. I paddled one of my SES’s. Below Tim and Mike practice their remounts once we got back to the beach. Click for more pics. https://picasaweb.google.com/Surfski14/2011BlackburnTraining
