Just a few short weeks away!!  Registration is open.  Last year a few surfski paddlers were taking bets on who the windy conditions would favor. Will this year be any different? Regardless of the conditions, this race is a blast.  The roughly six mile distance and protected venue accommodates most paddlers this early in the season.  There are a few changes this year so check the Essex Race page for details.   Remember this is the 2nd race in the SurfskiRacing.com Series.  The local winner not only gets the full 12 points but also $100.00 on behalf of Stellar Surfskis.  Each winner of each Series Race is awarded $100.00 and the winner of the Series wins the grand cash prize at the end of the season.    Last year Tim edged me out by a few points and one the Stellar paddle.  Stellar is also sponsoring the East Coast Surfski Championships in conjuction with the Jamestown Counter Revolution Race held on August 27th.   $1500.00 in prize money for this race. Looking forward to seeing everyone at this race.   Remember the ROTC is April 30!!  The 6 mile race is perfect for surfskiers:   No portages, No rocks,  No waves but plenty wash riding.   It has been a long, long winter so time to get in your ski, flatwater or ocean, we will take it!
