Date: Saturday, September 26, 2105. Skippers meeting at 12:30 PM.
Location: Finish line and skippers meeting at Stony Beach (MBL Stony Beach, Falmouth, MA 02543 – in Woods Hole Village).
Cost: about $35 (to cover safety boat fuel, shuttle, food)
Registration: Email Chris Sherwood (christopher.robertson.sherwood@gmail.com, 774-269-9399) by Wednesday, September 23 to guarantee spot on shuttle.
Course info: Distance: ~10 miles point to point. Start at Megansett Beach, N. Falmouth, MA. Finish at Stony Beach, Woods Hole, MA. Straight line gets you almost a mile offshore. Lots of bail-out beaches to east. Course subject to change depending on weather.
Logistics: (subject to change) Spot your boats and gear at the start no later than noon at Megansett Beach (across the street from Megansett Yacht Club, 237 Country Rd, North Falmouth, MA 02556). Drive to finish line at Stony Beach for skippers meeting at 12:30 PM. Shuttle vehicles will transport paddlers back to starting line for 2 PM race start.
